Keyword density Is an important part of website. Without good Keyword density its very difficult to win the terms you are shooting for. I suggest keeping your Keyword density between 9-12 uses per page. Don't go overboard with it and use the terms you are going after every other word or stuff your website's menus full of anchor text with the same terms over and over again. Keyword density is the percentage of words on a web page that match a specified set of keywords. In the context of search engine optimization keyword density can be used as a factor in determining whether a web page is relevant to a specified keyword or keyword phrase. Due to the ease of managing keyword density, search engines usually implement other measures of relevancy to prevent unscrupulous webmasters from creating search spam through practices such as keyword stuffing (also known as hidden text). Keyword density isn't always all important, but it does help. Search for the term "Bridegroom" in google. The number one page for that term should be on Wikipedia. Keyword density is very low and they are still winning the term. Keyword density is just one of many factors Google uses to decide who wins what term. |
