Here is a little info about Leonardo Arce, owner and founder of this Web Design Company. Just like people say that certain boxers are the best boxers for their weight class......."Pound for pound whoever is the best boxer in the world"......that is how Leo Arce can be described in the Web Design & Development field. For the low amount of money people pay Leo and his web team their clients come out with heavy duty sites that can rival just about any site that any other developer puts out. By "Low" we don't mean dirt cheap, but it's on the lower end of competitive rates. Some may go as far as to say that "Buck for buck, Leonardo Arce is one of the best Web Developers of all time". Well, together with his excellent Web Development team that is "LEAR Web Design". Now on to his history......Throughout most of his schooling from elementary school through high school and college as well he has had Computer and Art classes. There were 3 things that Leo wanted to do with his life after High School. He wanted to be a Commercial Artist, Computer Technician, or Computer Programmer. At the end of High School he rejected Artist, due to the fact that they don't make as much money as computer professionals (or at least that what he thought), and he narrowed it down to 2 fields. After he graduated High School he went to a Vocational/ Technical School for "Computer Electronics" (Ccomputer Repair). He graduated that course but did not get a job in that field. After a while of looking for a Computer Technician job, he took a break. After the break he joined the military. Leo Arce was recruited into the United States Marine Corps by a Sgt. Smith who was in a Mall that he was cruising one day. There were a few reasons why he joined, but the main one was to get government funding for school, however, he did not go to school while he was in, due to the fact that military personnel move from state to state very often. What he did was to wait until he got out of the Marine Corps, so that he can use the Montgomery G.I. Bill money for educational purposes. His main occupation in the Corps was accounting, however, he did a little of everything. His first year in the Marines was training on the basics of being a Marine and the basics of accounting. The other 3 years he was doing the accounting occupation. During his off time during these 3 years is when he developed an interest in web design and development. He learned HTML on his own. He dabbled in JavaScript, CGI, Perl, DHTML and Java. After he got out of the U.S.M.C. in December of 2000 he began looking for a school that had the program he wanted. In January of 2001 he found the perfect school. The school that he found was "The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale", but the quarter had already started, so he had to wait 'till the next quarter which was April 02, 2001. While at this school he learned the more advanced web development techniques, but even after he graduated he has continued to learn as much as he can. Almost every week he learns new techniques and strategies about Web Design and Development.
