Company: ATLANTIC SHORES HEALTHCARE Job Description: PSYCHIATRIST Staff Psychiatrist GEO Care, Inc./South Florida State Hospital, a 325 bed, privately run psychiatric hospital, seeks both P/T and F/T Staff Psychiatrist. F/T hrs: M-F, 8am-5pm, on call rotation, M-S once every 6/7 wks. P/T hrs: 10-20/wk, Tue & Wed preferred. Assume responsibility for the admission, continuing care and discharge of persons served. Provide leadership to the multi- disciplinary treatment team, and participate in hospital-wide performance improvement & other activities. Reqmts incl: OD/MD from accredited university. Board certified or eligible in psychiatry. Licensed or licensable in the state of Florida. Skilled in organization, supervision & state-of-the- art treatment interventions. Will consider recent graduate.
